Boone,

I've been looking through the pages for The Commons to determine which have pingbacks and/or comments enabled.

But, I found myself acutely aware that I was on the live site so I decided to open a ticket here to get a little feedback. :-)

I'm almost sure that turning off pingbacks and comments (on pages) will not break the site. But I'm concerned that there could be pages that were created before I started that need special attention. I've looked through about a quarter of our pages and there are already quite a few with pingbacks/comments turned on.

Can I go though them and confidently disable comments and pingbacks without worrying about adversely affecting functionality on the front end?
