Description

I stopped receiving email notification on one of my AC blogs: http://core1fall2012.commons.gc.cuny.edu
I had been receiving regular email notification whenever my students did new blog posts on my site. But yesterday and today (12/9 & 12/10) two students did blog posts that I was not notified about via email. I checked and I'm still listed as "All Email" for this group and blog.

It appears that activating BPGES networkwide will solve this problem.

Not sure why it's coming up just now. Ray, do you have any idea why a recent update to BPGES would have stopped bp-groupblog posts from triggering BPGES? I guess a better question is: why was it working before, since GES wasn't network activated? Was there a switch_to_blog() happening or something, which has now been removed?

Matt - Can you please update this ticket again when you have seen/heard whether this is fixed in production by the network activation?

In GES 3.2.2, there is a code snippet that prevents edits from firing GES:
https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-group-email-subscription/commit/313ce3d11da40d0513489130855f21f2db3ba6cb#L0R463

This could be conflicting with some custom code running in bp-custom.php.

Perhaps cac_block_groupblog_activity_bump()?
