Description
Esther Michelle Gabay reports
"When I create a post on a CUNY Commons Wordpress site that we created for the English Department at Kingsborough CC CUNY, the post usually goes to a group of faculty through email. Recently, when I publish posts, the email that goes out and cuts off the content on the right side of the frame. I have no clue why this is happening and it only just started to occur recently. I've attached a screenshot to show what I mean."

It looks like the issue is due to using very long, link texts in the body of the blog post.
For this specific instance, in the blog post -- https://kccenglishonline.commons.gc.cuny.edu/janes-kcc-english-department-news-22/ -- there is a link under the "Area Committee Signups" section that uses the entire https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/... URL as the link text (see attached screenshot). Since the group email uses the blog post's content and due to the small width of the email template, that is why the email does not look as it should. In this example, if that long link text was replaced with a shorter version of the URL or even using a phrase like "please complete the digital form at this link" instead, the email would look correct.
It would be better if the blog post author would keep in mind the length of their link texts for future groupblog posts, but I can also make some adjustments code-wise to truncate long link texts in group emails. I'll work on this for the next maintenance release.
