Bug #24665
open"This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed."

Description
Hi All,
A user is trying to edit the page here: https://nyclmis.commons.gc.cuny.edu/project/lmis-research-breakfast-series/
In the back end block editor, she is getting the message "This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed." on most content. See screenshot.
This content has been added to the page with otter blocks and is grouped. Do you think this is an issue with the otter blocks plugin? Maybe an issue with the "projects" added by a past web admin in this center? Other ideas?
FYI - this site was designed by a grad student who has now moved on. They used a lot of block features, query loops, and added the "projects" section to the dashboard which provides the structure for this page. It might be an over complicated design but the current web admin for this is working within the structure she inherited (in case that helps explain the site structure and provide some context and history).
Thanks!

The issue is due to a conflict between the Gutenberg plugin and Otter Blocks. Another user on the wp.org forums experienced a similar problem - https://wordpress.org/support/topic/otter-block-patterns-are-missing-and-have-an-error/#post-18842580.
I've disabled Gutenberg and most of the functionality looks correct now in the Block Editor, but some of the images are missing in some of the Media & Text blocks when editing. It might be that you just have to re-add and replace the missing images from the Media Library, but I haven't tried doing that yet.

Good find, Ray! I spent some time working on this yesterday and I had almost figured it out but had to step away :)

thanks to you both! I have relayed this info to the user and asked them to test and let us know of any other issues.
