Anyone else finding that the Commons is running slowly?

I just loaded the homepage in both Safari and Chrome and it did feel a little slow in both. I inspected the network tab in Chrome and it looked like our images were lading a little slow. Particularly the ones in the slider.

I was experiencing issues earlier with Amazon's systems in my startup's code and a few other unrelated services, but I don't think any of our stuff is dependent on anything related to Amazon AWS or their servers.

Maybe we want to send a message to IT to ask if there were any updates or outages today?

It seems to be running fine for me, though running top does show me some pretty high utilization. That said, I'm unsure whether that's normal for this machine.
