QUESTIONS FOR THE PERSON REQUESTING THE PLUGIN/THEME
- What's the name of the plugin/theme? Make. http://wordpress.org/themes/make, or https://thethemefoundry.com/wordpress-themes/make/#make-table
- In a few words, what does it do? Make is ridiculously flexible in terms of customization when building pages (folks compare it to SquareSpace in terms of flexibility).
- How is the theme different from what's already provided on the Commons? I've compared it to Woo's Canvas: while they are both very flexible, I think Make's page builder is actually better than Canvas...
- What's the potential impact? Who will use it? Users who want to build portfolio, gallery, or display a range of materials and customize their page layouts (I thought it was really great for showcasing my publications and teaching work).
- Who initially made the request? Me, myself, and I.
- Who is the theme author? Theme Foundry.
- Say a little bit about the release history and popularity of the theme. How many times has it been downloaded? When was it last updated? It was JUST released for free to the public (as in, yesterday), but I played around with the paid preview version a month ago or so. It has already been downloaded over a thousand times.
