Description

This is a domain mapping request from Tsubasa Berg - She is now ready and would like http://bkpublicscholars.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ mapped to her domain http://bkpublicscholars.org/
She will point CNAME records to commons.gc.cuny.edu (146.96.128.200). No change will be made to A records.

The DNS settings do not appear to be correct - the domain name still resolves to 64.91.227.116.

A records: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/bkpublicscholars.org
CNAME: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#CNAME/bkpublicscholars.org (none found)

Can you check back with the reporter to verify that the settings are correct on the registrar end? Thanks.

From #3446:

When I go to bkpublicscholars.org, I am directed to the Commons Home Page. It seems that there might be a problem? Wondering if it is on our end or on our member's end. Thanks.

Our end. I hadn't configured the domain mapping because the DNS settings were incorrect. I have now completed the setup on our end and it appears to be working. Please verify.

  • Status changed from Reporter Feedback to Resolved

It looks like the domain has expired, but there's no longer a problem on our end.
