Description
The following request is for a premium theme ($68.00) for LL Journal. The editors plan to migrate their 7 issues from OJS to the Commons. Do we have the budget to purchase this theme? Here is the email I received from Ernesto:
"This is Ernesto, from LL Journal (http://cuny.is/lljournal). The team has decided to use "Outspoken" as the theme for our Academic Commons site: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/outspoken/

We'd like to know what the next steps would be for purchasing the theme so we can run the journal with it. Please let us know what you need from us to move forward with the transaction."

Hi Scott -- I am unclear. Do they have funds to purchase the theme? If they do, they should buy it and email us the theme files. If not, please let me know.
Some clarifications from Ernesto:
"I need to clear two details. First, we're planning to move near to 20 issues of LL Journal (http://ojs.gc.cuny.edu/index.php/lljournal/issue/archive), not just 7 issues.
Along these days, we are creating pages in our Academic Commons site to connect the new site with the OJS page. For instance, this is how are we presenting an article in the new site: http://lljournal.commons.gc.cuny.edu/dos-poemas-ineditos/
On the other hand, we do not have a budget to buy the theme. LL Journal is an initiative of the students of the PhD Program in Spanish & Portuguese, so we don't have institutional funds. "

Matt, I'll leave it up to you whether the Commons should establish a policy of springing for these kinds of things. I looked around on the site, but didn't find info one way or another on licensing, from which I conclude that we can do whatever we'd like with it. So, maybe it'll tip the balance if we decide that the theme will be made available to all Commons sites.
