Hi Ray,
I received a double notification of this post - http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/journal-of-interactive-technology-and-pedagogy/forum/topic/issue-7-update/#post-39742 (private group)
Oddly, I also received a double email notification of an NYCDH post - http://nycdh.org/groups/nycdh-announcements-71439400/forum/topic/upcoming-nyu-digital-humanities-events/
I don't imagine these events are related, but I bring them up in case they are. If you could look into the GC case, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi Matt,
Looks like the double notification occurred when we upgraded bbPress, which wiped out a hotfix (#3941) we added to prevent email notifications being sent out when someone edited their forum post.
I've added back the hotfix in commit 7868b7daaa.
For NYCDH, I manually applied the hotfix there as well.

Do we have a list of hotfixes that need to be reapplied after updates so that we can avoid this situation in the future?

Boone might have others, but I'm aware of one other hotfix of mine -- the one we do for HTML emails (#3781). (This reminds me to follow-up with the author of WP Better Emails!)
