closedChange 'My Groups' label in 'Docs Directory'

Description
The ‘My Groups’ tab in the ‘Docs Directory’ suggests it will lead to a list of groups, but instead it leads to a list of documents associated with the groups.
Change second tab label to: ‘My Groups Docs.’

"My Groups Docs" doesn't seem grammatical to me. I'd suggest either "My Group Docs" or "My Groups' Docs". Does anyone have a preference?

I'm not sure what this will show. Docs created not by "me" but by others in groups I'm a part of? Not sure "my" is right there if so. I do agree that Groups Docs is wrong

"Docs belonging to groups of which I am a member"
Another option: if the existing tab is legitimately confusing, and if we can't come up with a label sufficiently succinct and clear, maybe we should just remove it.

What if we just called it "Group Docs" with the tacit understanding that it shows docs only from groups a member is part of? I think that's a reasonable assumption

I agree that the grammar is off in "My Groups Docs" -- I think "My Group Docs" works.

"My Group Docs" suggests that the docs are owned by "me." I think that "Group Docs" is preferable to "My Group Docs" if this will include docs created by people other than me (but that are part of my groups)

After thinking about this more, I think Boone’s suggestion to get rid of that tab entirely makes the most sense. It’s already not included on the Commons Profile > Docs (http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/members/samradd/docs/) and I think it’s more likely users are accessing the docs from within each individual group. I can’t think of a use case where the user would need to look at docs from multiple groups at once.
Seth -- before going further, is it possible to get stats on how many users end up on that page (http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/docs/my-groups/)?

One use case I can think of is that on a collaborative project, members may not remember who created a doc. They also may not remember in which group a doc was started. Perhaps this is an edge case, but as someone who is part of a lot of groups, I think it's reasonable. I'm fine with getting rid of the tab if I'm alone in this, but I would like us to do some user testing on it at a later date.

Just an update on the stats. I verbally updated Samantha and Chris in our meeting, but wanted to run the numbers again because they're so low and wanted to have an official record. The usage on that file path specifically (http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/docs/my-groups/) has been minimal: 43 views in the past year. This is a similar situation to the create new docs button where most of the page views come via the group specific urls rather than the general one.

Users in testing correctly understood the meaning of 'My Groups' as a tab in the Docs Directory. I think the low use of the 'My Groups' tab is related to the low use of the Docs Directory in-general, which is a different topic.
Based on that, we can leave the tab as-is and I'll mark this ticket as resolved :) Thanks for everyone's input!
