Description

I'm in a group -- the CUNY Games Network -- where an event has been created. That's great, but I'd like to copy it over to some of the other groups I'm in -- in this case, the CUNY Digital Humanities Initiative. Right now, I think that's not possible, at least for normal users (as an admin, I can edit the event and add another group, but my guess is that that is an admin privilege.

I can't remember whether we considered this before or not.

(for now, I just recreated the event manually in the other group, which is a fine workaround, though copying the event over directly would be easier)

Anyone with the permission to edit the event should be able to connect the event to multiple groups.

Are you looking for a new piece of functionality that can be used by any member of the Commons? Perhaps we should just lift the restriction on who is able to connect events to groups?
