Would it be possible to install a plugin for Slideshare, so that the presentations on Slideshare can be embedded on a blog. Here is the link for plugin:

I went the oEmbed route rather than a specific plugin. Once we have upgraded to 1.1.8, you will be able to embed a slideshare presentation in the same way as a Youtube video: by placing the url of the presentation on its own line in a blog post.
