A question from Michael about site backup: "Backup is listed under the Tools, but it looks like the backup directory does not exist (and wouldn't be writable if it did). How does this work?"

I don't see any strings like this in our codebase, so I'll assume that this support request is related to a plugin that we no longer have. Sorry for the extreme delay in response!
