  • Category name changed from WordPress (misc) to WordPress Themes
  • Status changed from New to Rejected
  • Target version set to Not tracked

The Post Formats metabox is only available if the theme supports at least one post format, and themes don't support post formats unless explicitly registered. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats (especially "Adding Theme Support"). The Academica theme doesn't appear to support post formats.

Twenty Sixteen is an example of a good theme that does support post formats, if you'd like to check it out.
