Description
Former user Shequana Wright (https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/members/swright15/) asks "How can I remove my information?". She was last active 5 years agao. I replied: "Shequana - We'd like to help. Naturally we are wary that someone may impersonate a former student to have information removed without their consent. In your case, I see the email you are writing from is the same as what's listed on your profile page. I'll pass this on to our developers, but if you have any further documentation we'd be glad to have it."

Matt, can you please advise on the policy here?
I saw the initial help request, and I'm not sure whether the user wants the entire account deactivated or whether the user just wants to remove some info from the portfolio. Our preferred method is for users to do this themselves if they have access to the email address attached to the account, so, Marilyn, perhaps you can just provide instructions but also seek to ensure that deleting the account is what the user is asking for?
She replies
"Please deactivate the account.
Thank you,Shequana
Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S® 6 edge."
Thanks. Can you please send her instructions on how to do that herself?
OK, done.
But I don't see her in the registered users list. Why wouldn't she show up as swright15 if that's her member name? Just curious.
The user doesn't appear to have a role on the main site, so she doesn't show up in the search at Dashboard > Users. She can only be seen in the network admin. This is the case for some user accounts that were created more than a couple years ago.
This can be closed if you want.
