problem with group calendar

Description

Andie Silva, admin of https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/york-college-department-of-english, reports that the group calendar will only show "events we created, ourselves, on the calendar but not those made by others in the group. They all show up under "upcoming" but not on the calendar page."

I have replicated this problem but have no idea how to solve it. I've attached three screenshots to show the differences.
