Description
Rafay from the Digital scholarship services at City College would like to request the "PDF Poster" plugin. However, he would need to alter the code to allow us to link specific pages in the PDF, and waould first like to know if we allow the users to edit a plugin's code.

No, we generally do not allow this. It makes it impossible for us to update the plugin in the future.
If this is a general improvement for the plugin, I recommend that the user reach out to the plugin author to try to integrate it into the publicly available code.
If it's a customization specific to the user's needs, I'd recommend passing along the plugin and the modification to me so that I can see whether there's a way to accomplish it without modifying the plugin code.

I would recommend using the Embed Any Document plugin that we recently added to the Commons.

If Rafay needs to embed a certain page in the PDF, I would suggest splitting the PDF up into separate PDFs and embedding them that way.
