Group email settings "No Email" issue
I created a new group and the default is set to "All Email." I noticed that three members are set to "No email" and that one of them is me. I never choose "No Email," so I am wondering whether there is a bug of some sort. Can you please try joining the group from a test account and seeing whether it also is subscribed with a "No Email" setting?

The migration is complete, so all subscription data is moved over.
I've just tested default subscription functionality, and it works properly: users are given the proper subscription level at the moment of joining. So if there's still a mismatch on your end, it could be that you had the bad fortune of creating the site and inviting users as I was in the midst of moving some data over. I'd suggest resetting the levels of those users manually.
