Description

Hi All,

The Humanities Alliance (a CUNY program that supports teaching at the Community colleges) is moving their site to the Commons and would like to use the Textbook theme:

Are we able to add this theme to the Commons?

Yes, this seems OK to me. Since it hasn't been updated in a while, I'd prefer to enable it only for the specific site in question, rather than making it available for all to use. When the program has created their Commons site, could you please provide the URLs so I can enable? (I'll add the theme to the codebase for the 1.18.1 release, scheduled for Dec 22.)

Hi Matt,

Before submitting the ticket I let them know that I was unsure if we would be willing to install the theme because of the update issue.

I have asked the HA team to let me know the URL to the site where textbook theme should be installed but also suggested they let us know if there are any other, more recently updated themes they might want to use instead.

I asked about the update issue but they want to go ahead with this theme and try it out.

Sounds good. Theme added to the codebase in https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/7730b55457744a5c392c46a6a8b07ea773df6589. I will make it available on the site after the release next Tuesday, at which point I'll update this ticket to let you know it's ready.
