I went to edit a blog post and noticed that the kitchen sink tools are missing. I've tested on a few blogs and it's not showing up on any of them.

Hi Sarah --

This is probably related to a recent change we made in the editing screen options. Boone and Dom, can you take a look at this? Something strange is going on -- I think we've lost some of the buttons we intended to keep, such as paste from word.

Note: Redmine is a bit wonky right now; pages are taking a long time to load. I've alerted André.

All show the TinyMCE editor buttons. Didn't we decide to remove paste from Word?

The kitchen sink buttons are available by default (#1390), which may explain why Sarah is not seeing the kitchen sink button. If you are seeing a second row of buttons, then you are seeing the kitchen sink.

Dom,
About the Paste from Word. I don't think that we explicitly said not to that but you are right that the icon is not in your proposed set. I don't use it much myself but I think that it should be in there and in fact I'm working on this site for the Hybrid Group right now and I think that is the kind of project where they will make a lot of use of it.

If you look at the proposed layout I made a while ago there is a group of four with cut, copy, paste, paste Word. I would recommend keeping those in and together (which I guess means adding in Cut and Paste from Word) http://www.teachingmultimedia.com/commons/tinyMCE/.

I welcome your thoughts or anyone else's on that.

The changes were originally supposed to be for 1.4, but somehow they got committed to the 1.3.x branch, so you should make the changes in 1.3.x and I will merge them to master after deployment.
