Description

Bruce N. pointed out that the google custom search doesn't seem to be searching blogs . . . or, at any rate, not searching them well. Case in point: although Bruce has posted on clickers on his blog ( http://bleedingedge.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2009/08/21/student-response-systems-aka-clickers/ ), when one use the GSE to search the Commons for "clickers," the only results that come up are his profile page (which contains a notification of a blog post) and another unrelated page.

Is there anything you can think of to improve this?

I know this was years ago, but when I search for "clickers", lots of subdomain blogs are returned in the results: http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/search-results/?cx=004300494496351942816%3Avifba_gegbu&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=UTF-8&q=clickers&sa=Search&siteurl=commons.gc.cuny.edu%2F&ref=&ss=1680j765812j8

So I'm thinking that this issue was probably due to an incomplete crawling of the site. I'm going to close this ticket. If there continue to be issues, please reopen with details.
