Description
Hi All,
One more question related to the site https://lagccoertelc.commons.gc.cuny.edu and/or the academica theme (and maybe connected to #22967?)
When a user tries to edit the header color, nothing changes. Edits to header background color and background color work, but not header text color. See video.

It looks like the Academica theme does not properly implement the Header Text Color to the header.
I can add a fix for this. Just wanted to ask if I should apply the color change to just the header text? Or both the header text and description?
Hi Ray,
They would like the header text and description to be white. You can apply to just the header text because I believe we changed the site description color through custom css already.
- Category name set to WordPress Themes
- Status changed from New to Staged for Production Release
- Target version set to 2.5.11
Hi,
Did this fix get implemented on the production site on 6/24? User reports it is still not working and I can confirm, I am unable to change the header text color on this site https://lagccoertelc.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
Thanks
Hi Laurie,
The header text color customizer fix for the Academica theme will be a part of the next maintenance release, which hasn't been deployed yet.
But there shouldn't be an issue for that particular site because the header text is already white and I believe you mentioned that they wanted the header text to be white. Let me know if that is not the case.
- Status changed from Staged for Production Release to Resolved
