Unable to send WordPress Theme Files, Database Backups and .PHP scripts

Description

I have requested for a sub domain at commons which will be : cic.commons.gc.cuny.edu. I have raised a seperate ticket for the same.

When I am trying to email the wordpress based website (.zip file containing Theme Files, Database Backup, i.e., .sql file and other related .php scripts) that I am developing for Prof Tansen Sen in .zip format to , the mail bounced back with the following error message :

"Your message could not be delivered because by policy Graduate Center email must total less than 20 Megabytes in size, contain less than 50 attachments. Attached archive files (.zip, .tar, etc) must contain less than 256 files and have no more than 20 nested folder levels. "

I can not upload the .zip file here as the .zip file is exceeding the file limit of 10 MB. However, as you will appreciate, there is no way I can reduce the file size.

Please suggest an alternate way so that I can send you the .zip files.

Can you give more details about what you're trying to send? A custom theme + a WordPress export file should, I presume, be less than 20MB/256 files. There is no need to send any files from the WordPress codebase. I also do not need a WP database export; it is much easier to work with the XML file generated at Dashboard > Tools > Export.

Sujay - What I'm suggesting is that you don't need to send all the files. I don't need any of the WordPress codebase.

In any case, you may share the zip file with on Dropbox.

Thanks, Sujay. It looks like the zip you shared only contains the WordPress export XML file. Do you have other files to share?

Boone - I have shared two .zip files, namely : CIC_Wordpress_Theme.zip (size 11 MB Approx) & thechineseindiancommunity.wordpress.2014-02-21.zip (11.5KB). Did you get both of them ?

Sujay - I've got to review the files that you sent. I should be able to do this in the next day or two, and let you know whether there are any problems I'll need fixed. Assuming everything is OK, this will be slated for our next scheduled release, which is March 1.
