Change Wording of Options on Friend Request Responses

Description
I received a note from a member who felt bad clicking "Reject" in response to a Friend Request. The member asked whether the option might be changed to "Decline," which is perhaps a more gentlemanly demurral.
I think we can consider that, but one thing I mentioned to the member is that I'm not sure that the rejectee in the above scenario actually receives a notification of the event ("Your friendship request has been rejected by user X").
I just tested this out with the Test Student account, and it appeared to me that no message was sent.
So, two questions: is it worth changing the language? (my vote: no, but let's consider it within the overall scope of the Dev Roadmap) . .. .and Should we add a mouseover help notation saying that members won't be notified when friendship requests are rejected? (my vote: yes.)

My two cents - I never really thought about it but "Reject" is kind of harsh. If it's something that would take a couple of minutes to change I don't see the harm in being gentlemen/women/persons and switching to "Decline" but if it's a big project then forget it. Either way I do think a mouse over notice is probably a good idea just to ease minds.
I agree that eventually it might be nice to change it to 'Decline' I know we don't like the comparisons to Facebook but they have also opted for less agressive words, it's just "Not Now" Also the mouseover is a good idea and something that would add reassurance.
I don't think it's a top priority but something to put on the roadmap.
Chris, what is the best way to build up a list of tooltips? Should we start making a list somewhere -- perhaps on a ticket here on Redmine? I'll get a ticket started.

I find the gentlemanly demurral stuff to be lame, but I think that the change to Decline is harmless enough. Chris, would you mind making the change in the language file?
