Hi Boone,
I emailed earlier tonight about a few email notifications that seemed off to me. I just took a look at the homepage, and the right column featuring recent blog posts looks very off to me -- it is mostly composed up updates like [user] edited [post title]", all within the same group (CUNY Games Network) I was writing about before. I'm pretty sure that something is borked here.

I've just added Robert to Redmine and made him a watcher on this ticket. Robert, please contribute, though please note that this ticket is about the news feed rather than the featured image issue you brought up in your message; we can deal with that in a separate ticket if needed -- Scott will help you troubleshoot that.
Boone and Ray, here's what Robert wrote in his latest email; please let us know whether this does indeed explain things:
"The outdated messages you received last night probably occurred when I reposted old content as a featured post on the new theme. I forgot to turn off the automatic social updater."

Thanks for the update.
Robert, can you please provide more context for "reposted old content as a featured post"? If this means that you did, in fact, post a bunch of new content last night, then perhaps we're not looking at a bug here?
