Description

The explanatory text for ‘Thread Display Mode’ is repetitive; it does not offer any information the user does not get from the label. The first sentence of explanatory text for ‘Number of Posts to Show Per Page’ is also repetitive, since the label itself is clear.

Delete explanatory text for ‘Thread Display Mode.’
Delete first sentence of explanatory text for ‘Number of Posts to Show Per Page.’

I basically copied these labels and explanatory text from vBulletin, a popular forum script that powers tons of message boards. I've attached a screenshot from vBulletin. (I haven't implemented some of the other options listed in that screenshot though.)

Our audience is probably a bit more savvy, so I agree that we could remove the redundancies.
