Bug #439
closedHero slides not displaying correctly with IE
0%
Description
The hero slides appear to be cut off on the left. I have attached a screenshot of what the homepage looks like on my computer (Windows 7, IE 8). I cleared my cache like Ron suggested, but it still looks the same.

I hate internet explorer so much. I guess this is a Windows 7 thing as it doesn't look that way in XP.
Chris, I'm assigning this to you because you are probably better at this kind of fix than I am, but I will work on it myself over the next few days if you can't get to it.

Yes, I'll take a look at this but I won't be able to get to it until this evening after class.

Hi Guys,
I just pushed some changes that should resolve this. There were some css problems and also a js problem that were preventing the slider from working properly in IE. It looks like there are some other layout inconsistencies in IE7 as well... but not as major as the problem initially reported here.
Have a look and let us know if you're still encountering odd behavior.

I pulled these latest changes to cdev. They look good on my machine, but I'll give them another look when I'm near some Windows machines later today.
Thanks, Michael!

I had a look on IE8/W7 and it looks great. Marking this resolved - please reopen if I'm mistaken. Feel free to open separate tickets for less serious layout issues.
