I received this email alert about a post and it is corrupted with control characters or something. The original post is fine--the link is: http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/digital-humanities-initiative/forum/topic/brooklyn-historical-society-dh-project-opportunities-3/

I will attach a screenshot of the garbled message in 5 minutes

I received the email from Steve and I think this issue is related to .gc.cuny.edu email addresses.

I'm going to close this in favor for #5448, which has a bit more info into the problem.
