when I go to the homepage and try to filter users by active / newest, the list refreshes but shows the same members in the same orde

I'm not seeing this. The Newest/Active filters are working as expected.

Ray, is it possible that hitting a cold cache would cause problems via an AJAX request?

You're right -- it appears to be working correctly for me now, but it wasn't yesterday when I reported
