I've noticed that I've suddenly started receiving notifications of deletions of group docs. I don't think i have ever received such notifications before. So, either no one ever deleted a document or the notifications have changed.

Two questions:

1. Is this is a new change?

2. Is it a good thing for notifications of document deletions to be sent out to all members of a group? I'm not sure of the answer to this -- I can see how it could be beneficial to have alerts go out (that way, members of a group could be kept aware of such deletions), but so far, at least, I've found it to be surprising.

Perhaps the right way to go about handling this would be:

1. Determine is such notifications represent a change in how things had been working previously.

2. If this is a new change, check with the Group for Group Admins to see what people think about it.
