Description
Whenever you type into the search bar, you get tabs to filter the results "All results, Groups, Forums, Wiki, People, Blogs" Interestingly enough every search term I type in, the "blog" result is just Chris Stein's blog. I guess his is the only site categorized as such? I suggest we take a closer look at search results, these tabs, and how we can improve here.

Ray, it looks like you may have been the last to touch this. See #17850
That code references a Programmable Search Engine with the ID 004300494496351942816. I can't seem to find this in my own PSE settings. I've got one that is labeled CUNY Academic Commons, but it's got a different ID. I also looked under cunyacademiccommons@gmail.com, but I didn't see anything there. Is it linked to your account?

I don't believe I ever logged in; I just changed the markup to what Google was expecting for the Programmable Search Element from their documentation: https://developers.google.com/custom-search/docs/element
In https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/17850#note-1, I mention that I do not have access to configure the search results and asked if either yourself, Matt or Scott had configured Google's Custom Search Engine. At the end of the ticket, you mention that you had access to the Programmable Search Engine. Did you check cunycommons@gmail.com
? I don't seem to have the credentials for this account, so it might be tied to that Google account.

Thanks, Ray. I see my comment in that ticket, and it's true that when I log into the PSE tool, I see one called 'CUNY Academic Commons'. But it has a different ID number, and it doesn't look like it's been configured with any of the Refinements (like Groups and Wiki) that I see on the search page. So I think it's different, maybe one I created as a test, and probably the one that I was referencing in the other ticket.
Looking through the repo history, the CSE was included in the very first commit in 2010, so it was likely Matt who set it up. Maybe when he's back he can take a look.

I think once we gain access to the Google account that originally configured the Custom Search Engine, we can add additional admin accounts to that search engine so we can easily manage the Programmable Search Engine from our own Google accounts: https://developers.google.com/custom-search/docs/admin_accounts.
If we cannot figure out which Google account set up the original CSE, the alternative is setting up a brand-new Programmable Search Engine. I'm not sure if there is any historical data from the original CSE that might be beneficial though.
